BSA is launching a new Leadership Experience at the Summit Bechtel Adventure Point!
It is available to young men and women entering their junior year of high school. Nominated by their school (teachers, principal, counselors, mentors), 40 students will be selected during the summer and will begin the program in August. Students will be taught technical leadership concepts, while also learning from leadership expertise in the community through direct interaction and on-site visits. Meeting monthly in teams, students will plan and execute a significant community service project to demonstrate their leadership abilities. The school year-long program will also offer a Leadership Retreat at Adventure Point and a Capstone High Adventure Trip to the Summit, WV at its conclusion.
