The Embers 2020 program is the answer - an English Scouting group from Cheshire, England is bringing together the best campfire leaders, musicians and entertainers from across Europe for this event.

For scouts interested in earning the Inventing Merit Badge from the United States Patent and Trademark Office, please see link below.  Though the merit badge is offered through National Capitol Area Council, scouts from other councils can join.  Eight more days left to join as of July 1,2021 and the best part is everything is on Zoom.  There is $10 registration cost.

We will be showcasing our Scouting programs for girls and boys during our regular meeting.

WHAT: 

• 1st year Scout program for younger girls and boys (ages 11-12)
• Traditional Scout programs for girls and boys (ages 11-17)
• Venturing Crew for older co-ed youth (ages 14-20)

WHO:

• girls and boys ages 11-17
• older co-ed youth ages 18-20

• Cub Scout Leaders
  

The Troop has 12 slots open for Isle Royale.  Cost is $575 (paypal is $592).  Great mid - adventure trip.  There will be 6 nights camping.  4 nights on the Island and around 35 miles backpacking.  Scouts will need some backpacking experience so attending the shakedown for West Point and West Point itself would be a great idea if little to no experience backpacking.  Details in the excel document attached to the event.  We need interest ASAP to handle all bookings and ferry ride.  Will need $100 deposit ASAP.  Remaining money due by 4/30/2025.
